August 31, 2011. Hours before the tomatina starts, some attenders take a sleep on the streets after a night of party at Buñol. An estimated 35,000 people threw 120 tons of tomatoes in the world's biggest tomato fight held annually the last Wednesday of August in the Spanish town of Buñol, Valencia, Spain.
